The first edition of embedded world North America in the USA came to an end on Thursday afternoon. About 3,500 attendees came to find out about new embedded technologies from more than 180 exhibitors. The accompanying embedded world North America Conference was also well received.

“It is such a positive energy, and it was such a fantastic week”, Bill Ingwersen; Managing Director of NürnbergMesse North America, summarizes the event premiere. “I really want to give a heartfelt-appreciative thanks to all that made this happen: our exhibitors, the attendees, our staff, the city of Austin, the Convention Centre, the hotels – it really takes a village to make something this big happen so wonderfully and there are so many people to thank and we are so appreciative of the positive vibes and the great energy that this community made this week.”

In addition to the exhibitors in the exhibition hall, the keynote speeches and the five expert panels were the main attraction for visitors. “We are very happy with the general atmosphere here at the Austin Convention Centre”, says Ingwersen. “The keynote speeches were a huge success with the visitors, and there is already quite an interest among the exhibitors for securing their spot for next year.”

The conference took place alongside the trade fair and inspired numerous members of the embedded community. There were 18 sessions in total, with topics ranging from Internet of Things – Platforms & Applications, Connectivity Solutions, Embedded OS, Safety & Security, Board Level Hardware Engineering, Systems & Software Engineering, Embedded AI & Intelligent Systems, Embedded Human-Machine-Interface, System-on-Chip (SoC) Design, Cross-Domain Topics and Application Use Cases for embedded Technology.

“I would like to thank all speakers, all session chairs, our very active community partners, and all participants for the successful start of the embedded world North America Conference, and I am already looking forward to next year’s second edition,” says Prof. Dr. Axel Sikora, Chairman of embedded world Conference.

Save the Date

embedded world North America will return in 2025 – from 4 – 6 November in Anaheim, California, USA. “I am delighted that this milestone has enabled us to bring together the embedded community in three countries – on three continents, in fact – to share embedded expertise and promote future technologies,” says Benedikt Weyerer, Executive Director of embedded world Exhibition&Conference. “And I am all the more pleased to be able to announce directly today that embedded world North America will be taking place again next year – a bit later than this year and in a new city: from 4to 6 November 2025 in Anaheim, California, USA.”
